X-cellent VID brothah :ok:

Good to practice those moves, too......gives me lots of ideas.

Re: Beyond the AK 47/74 in CQB

The disarming moves look like BS. A lot of the other stuff reminds me of the light-saber kid.
I'd like that guy to sign a waiver and then show me how he is going to approach me and disarm me while I'm holding an AK at the ready.
I must be a jaded cynic?

You're right about that. He needs to move quicker and with a lot more FORCE - enough to break an arm.

Of course, how did he get that close without a shot in the 1st place ?

Well, just to clarify my 1st comment, I like the 'roll' to Prone position.......everything else is well - uhh.

Wallew.... this isn't some kind of mall ninja crap?

Re: Beyond the AK 47/74 in CQB

Sorry, but no, it's NOT mall-ninja stuff.

This guy trains SPETNAZ. And according to the guy I got this link from (he has the DVD), all OUR Spec For guys are really keen on this guy. As he's an armorer for the 3rd Spec For guys, I take his word for it. Plus we shared a bench in gunsmithing school, so I've known him now for more than 12 years.

I kinda doubt you could get him to sign a release form. If you wanted to take HIS course, YOU have fill out a release form.

And lets be clear here. He's doing this in basically SLOW MOTION so the camera guy can follow along without having to do TO MANY reshoots.

For a Spetnaz to complete training, they have to deliver over 100 blows per minute. Now I don't know about you, but I couldn't do that when I was young. Much less now.

So make fun all you want.

I WILL give you a hint though. I have a brown belt in Judo. I studied under a guy that was about five foot six. He weighed like 300 - 325 and was the FASTEST guy I've ever seen. EVER.

For graduation, if you were deemed good enough, you and he and a few other students walked through the 'bad' part of town on a Saturday night during summer. There were only a couple of times that we ACTUALLY got to bounce some really stupid people around.

You know the type. They figure a bunch of white guys, walking with an older fat guy that we must be lost in darkville. Hell, it was literally 'no contest'.

All you guys who think it's SO EASY to walk up and shoot someone. You've got NO IDEA what you are talking about. Now you MIGHT be able to take a shot from a half block away. And you might actually get LUCKY with ONE shot. But trust me. You probably won't get lucky. And ONE SHOT is all you will get. And you WILL be fed your teeth. If you're lucky that's ALL that happens. If not, damn man, bones break so quickly and easily you have NO idea.

I took judo from this guy for two reasons. The first was that he trained Denver PD officers. The second was I LIKE laying hands on people. None of this karate stuff. I grab you and I PROMISE I'll bounce you like a rubber ball. You bigger than ME? That's GREAT! Cause then I'll use YOUR weight and height to MY advantage, NOT YOURS.

So call BS all you want.

But even now, if someone approaches me from behind, I am not only aware of the presence without even turning my head for periphreal vision, but I find I instinctly go into my judo hunch that I kind of developed while being bounced all over the place by my instructors. It was actually VERY eye opening.

This guy? He's literally head and shoulders above ANYTHING I've ever seen before.

That has to be a joke.

One swift kick to the nuts and the boy goes down.

Looked like he gave one of those guys the vulcan death grip.

He must have trained with Spock as well...:sarc:

Re: Beyond the AK 47/74 in CQB

AGC,
No joke. But keyboard commando's like to make fun of things they cannot do.

NO SARCASM HERE. It wasn't the Vulcan Death Grip. It's accupressure points. I know of three points that WILL debilitate YOU in less than three seconds. See what happens when you get trained by the right people.

I've had it done to me. I went down in a heartbeat. Woke up on the floor going, "Huh, wha..."

the GIRLS that I have trained to shoot would take two steps BACK, then draw, aim and install two holes in the forehead of the large threatening man.

Re: Beyond the AK 47/74 in CQB

FP,
Their guns would never clear leather. Apparently you've NEVER SEEN Spetnaz in action. These guys are QUICK. This guy is quicker than they are.

Girls attempt to take two steps back would be dead before they hit the ground and THIS GUY would be holding BOTH their guns.

I've seen a bunch of "super system" type martial arts videos, and I'd have to say in a confrontation from over 10 ft spetnaz guy would have some fast moving lead coming his way.

WTF is all this mall ninja crap?

This guy tells you "operators" love his stuff and you believe him?

This is how CQB is dealt with in the real world.

SG,
You want REAL WORLD? I got REAL WORLD.

This is a DEAD BAD GUY.

Some where over 'in the sand'.

I got this one several years back. I RARELY post it. But you seem to think none of this is real. It is.

This is the results of people who operate like this. No whimpy video on training. This is the real deal.

I'll pull this pix down in 24 hours. If the mods want it down sooner, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DELETE IT.

WARNING!!!! GRAPHIC DEAD GUY!!!!! DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!!!!

Given to me by one of my friends. Same guy who sent me the DVD info that got this post started.

PHOTO REMOVED - SG saw it, which was all that was required

that is in no way connected to the goofy ass commando rolls and lightsaber kid gun play.

Actually, it is.

The guy who sent THAT photo is the same guy who sent the Spetnaz trainer DVD info.

Again, you can call it goofy. I would suggest you NOT say that to any Spetnaz, because you would be spitting teeth. At the very least.

You opinion is duly noted. And duly written down as bogus, because you have NO IDEA from which you speak.

You've got people who WORK for Spec For people? People who have been to Afghanistan or Iraq over a dozen times?

I do. YOU DO NOT. I'd be willing to bet you cannot even identify any of the weapons being shown in these pictures or where this pictures were taken SPECIFICALLY. I DO KNOW. YOU DO NOT.

Like I said. Duly noted. And duly IGNORED.

Second weapon is an AKM
